Abstract:

The transport sector is crucial for Austria’s GHG emissions balance. It is governed by systemic de-lays, e.g. caused by long-lasting vehicle stocks in operation. For a reliable policy analysis prospec-tive in time, the quantification of the system’s memory and persistence is important. PETRA is novel; it will link these characteristics with policies that had a succinct impact on the Austrian transport sector in the past allowing to improve evaluating the delay and effectiveness of future policies.
