Partners and patrons
Without the support of our partners and station patrons, the operation of WegenerNet would not be possible. We would like to say a big thank you, especially to the municipalities in south-eastern Styria and the Gesäuse region!
Many projects researching climate and environmental change and its effects, as well as normal weather observation, benefit from WegenerNet. Climate, weather and environmental risks can be better explained and possible economic and social consequences can be better assessed. In addition, there are many other benefits for the regions and their inhabitants, such as for spatial planning issues, water and energy supply, disaster prevention and regional development.
As a station patron, you contribute directly to an exciting pioneering experiment in weather and climate change research and to the fact that climate and environmental risks and possible effects are better researched in your region than in any other Austrian region. In addition, with your sponsorship you actively contribute to anchoring the top topic of climate change and climate protection in your region for children and young people in schools through lectures etc. using "science on your doorstep".
Become a station patron now! Your contribution as part of the sponsorship is fully tax-deductible. We are happy to enable you to become a patron in your home community, as close as possible to your company or your home.
