Joint OPAC-7 & IROWG-9
OPAC 2022 is an international workshop in the field of atmospheric remote sensing and occultation methods and the use of occultation methods in atmospheric physics, chemistry, meteorology, and climate and is organized this year for the seventh time by the Wegener Center for Climate and Global Change. The last OPAC hosted by the Wegener Center was held in 2016.
In 2022, the workshop will be held from September 7 to September 14. As in previous years, rooms at the Seminar Hotel Schloss Seggau have been rented for this purpose. Based on the last years, about 70 leading scientists from all over the world are expected again this year.
Furthermore, the International Radio Occultation Working Group (IROWG) will hold its meeting in the framework of OPAC-IROWG 2022. An international scientific panel will present its findings at OPAC and develop further research strategies.
