There will be short contributions by Birgit Bednar-Friedl, Michael Finus, Anja Karnein, Gottfried Kirchengast, Lukas Meyer, Kian Mintz-Woo, Laura Garcia Portela, Karl Steininger, Harald Stelzer, and Santiago Truccone-Borgogno. After the event, there will alsobe a small get-together with snacks, where we can continue to discuss the topic at hand. The following questions will be our starting point:
- Should the direction of research regarding climate change change in light of Trump's presidency and proposed policies?
- Do the strategies of coping with climate change have to beadapted to a new political environment and change accordingly?
- Will the role academics working in the area of climate changeassume have to change in the wake of Trump's presidency? Willthey have to assume a more activist position?
