Abstract:
Using a climatic model as well as an economic computable general equilibrium model, which will be linked to an agricultural and forestry optimization model, both technological options and political measures to expand the energy related biomass use in Austria are determined. Moreover, effects resulting from the increased biomass production on the firm level and on the economy as a whole are investigated.
