Abstract:
CATCH provides a comprehensive road map how energy efficiency policies in households may overcome rebound effects and market imperfections. The project will link an empirical survey on household behavior, a macroeconomic model of the general equilibrium type for policy impact analysis and a system model integrating stakeholder constellations and contextual factors. An assessment of eligible policies and technologies regarding their implementation connects core performance indicators, cross-sectoral policy interactions, trade-offs and synergies.
