ARSCliSys Field of Research

Satellite-based Earth observation and high-resolution ground-based observations are crucial resources for climate and environmental change research and monitoring.

The ARSCliSys (Atmospheric Remote Sensing and Climate System) Research Group has its research activities placed in this field, with focus on the Research Area:

Global and Regional Climate Analysis and Hydrology & Carbon Change Research

Under this Research Area, the ARSCliSys group pursues three Research Themes (RTs):

  • RT 1: Analysis, attribution, and impacts of climate change at global to regional scale
  • RT 2: Satellite occultation data for climate change monitoring at global to regional scale
  • RT 3: Hydrology and carbon change monitoring and analysis at regional to local scale
